What we stand for

We’re a certified B Corp. We’re committed to sustainability as a Climate Positive employer, and aim to be Net Zero by 2030. We actively participate and fundraise for at least four causes a year. Everyone in our team enjoys paid time off to volunteer in their community.

Collectively, this ensures we all spend our time wisely and contribute positively while at work. Read on to find out more.

Net Zero journey

Right now - thanks to fellow B Corp Ecologi - we’re a climate positive company. We are working towards becoming carbon neutral and, ultimately, Net Zero by 2030. It’s an ambitious goal but one that is worth our time and attention.

You can help us by signing up to our webinars or downloading one of our resources. For every form filled in, we’ll plant a tree on your behalf.

Stay tuned for our upcoming Impact Report.

CO2 Impact:

Becoming carbon neutral

We are and always have been a remote working company: that means no commuting and no offices.

We made Turbine, an application for routine paperwork, such as expense claims, online without any printed forms.

Staff have company Kindles and access to an extensive digital library; anyone can buy the books they need online.

We carbon offset all employee costs and travel to company meetings via planting trees with Ecologi.

Our travel policy allows for people to expense the cost of carbon offset for any additional company travel.

We have published environmentally-friendly purchasing guidelines for staff on reducing their environmental impact.

Allyship and community

Articulate demonstrates our allyships and commitments with policies, participation and fundraising.

We don’t just change our logo. We take action and look for opportunities to educate ourselves and those around us.

Donations with Payroll Giving

Articulate uses Payroll Giving to allow employees to donate to causes they care about without paying tax on those donations. And, we match these donations for a company charity, too. Over the years we’ve supported charities such as MIND and The Woodland Trust.

In 2021 we raised £1,400 through this scheme, and therefore matched this with an additional £1,400 to the Disasters Emergency Committee, which was further matched by the UK government. On top of this, we sent £2,000 in direct humanitarian aid to our Ukrainian developers (for Turbine).
